ATLANTA (March 13, 2018) – The Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability (GSMR), a professional body specializing in oil, gas and petrochemical industries in the Arabian Gulf Regions and SMRP, today announced a strategic agreement that enables both organizations to exchange member-only benefits and educational opportunities.
Through this agreement, GSMR and SMRP will collaborate on an oil and gas-related webinar for SMRP’s Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Shared Interest Group (SIG). SMRP will present at the 2018 Middle East Maintenance & Reliability Conference (MAINTCON) taking place November 25-28, 2018 in Bahrain, and will be recognized as a global partner at the event.
“This is tremendous opportunity for both of our societies to align on education and advancement within the global maintenance, reliability and physical asset management community,” said Erin Erickson, SMRP executive director. “The oil, gas and petrochemical industry will benefit greatly from the outcome of this agreement.”
GSMR members receive complimentary access to the SMRP Library, which includes the SMRP Body of Knowledge (BoK), 69 standardized metrics, as well as access to live and recorded webinars. Additionally, SMRP will recognize GSMR as a global partner.
