2019 Carolinas Chapter Annual Meeting

When: Thursday, August 22, 2019- Mt. Pleasant, SC

Event Description: The Carolinas Chapter of SMRP is pleased to announce this year's Annual Meeting will be held in Mt. Pleasant, SC onboard the USS Yorktown. The Yorktown provides a unique and historic venue for what will be a great day of learning & networking for maintenance & reliability professionals from across South and North Carolina. More details will come, but there will be solution provider sponsors in our expo area, and this year's keynote will be by Mr. Ron Bitely. Ron is the Global E&I Director for Krayton (formerly Arizona Chemical).

Presentations and Plant Tour at Novozymes

Tuesday, March 5, 2019 9:00 AM-3:00 PM- Franklinton, NC

Travis Edwards, Global Project Manager, Chase McGee, Maintenance Manager, and Luis Sanchez, Mechanical Reliability Engineer at Novozymes presented on the plant's initiatives for Maintenance 4.0. Novo Nordisk DAPI-US Greenfield site presented "Reliability Excellence From the Ground Up" by Matt Baldwin, Reliability and Planning Manager, Mike Hall, Reliability Engineer, and Owe Forsberg, Senior Consultant from IDCON. As an added benefit to attending, attendees were given a hosted plant tour following lunch. 

Carolinas Annual Meeting

In December, the Carolinas chapter had Day & Zimmerman host a Lunch & Learn in Greenville, SC.

In August, the Carolinas chapter held their annual meeting in Greenville, South Carolina. They had over 75 attendees for presentations and a plant tour. The presentations from the meeting are linked below.
