SMRP Chapters

The work of SMRP chapters is vital towards SMRP national achieving their goals. SMRP endeavors to connect site managers everywhere with information about practices that improve facility safety, production, and operational performance. Chapters are established in areas where there is a concentration of industry that can benefit from best-practice maintenance and reliability know-how.

Chapters strive to be a conduit between reliability and maintenance best-practices and the goals of local facility managers, supervisors, craftsmen, operators and leaders. Not all organizations are the same when it comes to making change. Some will spend considerable money hiring / using specialized talent and consultants, some will take months or years to reach their goals, while others just need reoccurring problems solved here and there. Regardless of funds and preference, local chapters help organizations striving to improve their circumstances.

In meaningful ways, chapters connect people that share a common purpose. Chapters provide people in a local area a chance to bond and grow. Chapters foster cross-learning by connecting best-practice practitioners with members from companies that make-up their local industrial community. Some chapters offer scholarship opportunities.
