Tour 1: Kennedy Space Center

NASA and Jacobs are working together under the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) on the Test and Operations Support Contract (TOSC) to modernize and upgrade ground systems and launch facilities for the next wave of commercial and government launch vehicles. Join the TOSC team on a tour of the KSC systems that will support Exploration Mission 1, and all of this foundational work that will continue in 2018 and 2019 to provide NASA with a flexible, reusable and sustainable infrastructure that will last multiple decades and support deep space missions of increasing complexity. *You must be a United States citizen to participate in this tour.


Tour 2: Disney - Business Behind the Magic

This is your opportunity to engage experienced Disney professionals and observe key examples from a “living laboratory.” This tour features concepts and illustrations from the professional development courses offered by Disney Institute and shows how they come to life each day at the Walt Disney World® Resort for Cast Members and Guests. You will explore the following locations: FLO (Fourth Laundry Operation), Epcot ® Cast Services, Main Street, U.S.A. ® and The “Utilidor” System.


Tour 3: SeaWorld

Gain insight into the maintenance and reliability efforts at SeaWorld's facilities and attractions. Topics will include the Mobaro computerized maintenance management system, the annual rebuild process, Delta energy use monitoring system and the many other assets maintained at Sea World. 

 


Tour 4: University of Central Florida

Tour UCFs’ District Energy Plant, a $16.2 million, 9,830 square foot facility that is expected to provide up to 8,160 refrigerated tons of chilled water capacity, and 5.4 MMBTU of heating hot water. The tour will continue at UCF’s Combined Heat and Power Plant, which received a Clean Air Honorable Mention for innovation and tremendous savings on both revenue and pollution avoidance at the 2015 Clean Air Award ceremony, presented by MetroPlan Orlando.


Tour 5: Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company, is engaged in the research, design, development, manufacturing, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. At Lockheed Martin’s Orlando Risk Management Solutions (RMS) site, the focus is on training and logistics solutions. Attendees of this tour will gain insight on designing for portability, reliability and maintainability, as well as Lockheed’s partnership with Jacobs. This tour will begin in the demonstration center, offering an introduction to design and maintenance, followed by a look at the facility production floor and central utility plant. *You must be a United States citizen to participate in this tour.
