Call for Abstracts: SMRP 2025 Annual Conference
This year, SMRP is seeking only 10 new session proposals for Track 6: Emerging Technologies at the 2025 Annual Conference. Due to the inclusion of speakers from the canceled 2024 event, no new workshops will be accepted.
Key Dates:
- Submission Opens: February 21, 2025
- Submission Closes: March 28, 2025 (5:00 PM ET)
- Notification of Acceptance: Late April 2025
Submission Requirements:
- Must be an SMRP member (or join before presenting)
- Sessions must focus on Emerging Technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML, Automation, Cybersecurity)
- Presentations should be non-commercial and focus on practical case studies
- Maximum of two presenters per session
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE 2025 PROCESS
The 2025 Call for Abstracts process is different from previous years. All speakers from the canceled 2024 Annual Conference have been invited to present in 2025. As a result, SMRP is seeking only 10 new sessions for this event, exclusively in Track 6: Emerging Technologies, with no new workshops. Therefore, the selection process will be highly competitive.
The SMRP planning team is accepting track session abstracts only for Track 6: Emerging Technologies.
If you would like to submit a Track 6 session, please note that the chances of selection are lower than usual, and the committee is particularly interested in emerging technology topics. If you wish to proceed with submitting an abstract, please refer to the 2025 guidelines. The standard Call for Abstracts process will resume for the 2026 Annual Conference.
