SMRPCO
In 1997, SMRP formed SMRPCO to create a certification program to validate the skills and knowledge of maintenance, reliability and physical asset management practitioners. Today, SMRPCO offers two certifications: CMRP and CMRT.
SMRPCO Exams
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional
The CMRP assesses a professionals’ aptitude within the five pillars of the SMRP Body of Knowledge.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician
The CMRT assesses the proficiency of technicians responsible for preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.
Certification (Board) Commission
SMRPCO is led by a Certification (Board) Commission elected by the certificants.
The SMRPCO Certification Commission develops procedures and policies for all activities related to certification. The current commissioners include:

Code of Ethics
SMRPCO certificants and exam candidates in pursuit of certification must pledge to represent their profession ethically and honorably. Conduct by a certificant that is detrimental to the SMRPCO Certification Program may result in revocation of Certification. Please review the SMRPCO Code of Ethics for more information.
