ATLANTA, GA July 25, 2017 – The Institute of Asset Management (IAM), a professional body for those involved in acquisition, operation and care of physical assets, and the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP), the global leader in maintenance, reliability and physical asset management, today announced an agreement that allows SMRP and IAM members to access member-only benefits across both societies.

Through this agreement, IAM and SMRP members can take full advantage of member-only content across both organizations that help them learn best practices for improving their companies’ processes and bottom line. This content includes educational resources, world-class metrics, publications and discounted rates for certification exams, presentations and events including the IAM Annual Conference and Asset Management Conference, plus the SMRP Annual Conference and SMRP Symposium. Members are also open to attend local meetings at IAM branches and SMRP chapters.

IAM members will be granted the Sustaining Sponsor rate when registering for either the CMRP or CMRT exams offered by SMRP’s certifying organization. SMRP members will receive the IAM member rate for the IAM Certificate and IAM Diploma.
