Alwaleed is the Head of Reliability Engineering and Condition Monitoring in Petroleum Development Oman. He is responsible for the design, development and delivery of PDO High Reliability Organization strategy and for the digitalization roadmap for the condition monitoring department . He is also the subject matter expert for reliability and problem-solving matters.
AlWaleed has a total of 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. During this period he successfully delivered a total of 300 MUSD on contracts winnings for oil and gas equipment, developed and trained locals in Oman and Brunei, developed and followed up KPI’s setting and implementation for government entities during his assignment in the government sector. During his professional career Alwaleed had several awards such as global salesman of the year, employee of the month on several occasions, gold award in reliability, distinction in the master’s thesis, and stock options for excellent performance. Alwaleed hold B. Eng in Mechanical engineering from Sultan Qaboos University, and a master’s degree in Consultancy and Coaching for Change from INSEAD Business School. He is a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA.)
