Logging in to the New SMRP Portal

Logging into the New SMRP Portal

SMRP has upgraded to a new database for certification, membership, and education management. This upgrade brings an improved, user-friendly system that simplifies processes for making purchases and managing your contact information. To access these features, all users are required to authenticate their account in the new SMRP Portal by following the process outlined below.

Step 1:  Navigate to the New SMRP Portal. You will see a dialog box that looks like the below.

Please DON'T enter your login details or click on "Don't remember your password." Just skip the "Log In" tab and click on "Set Up an Account". *Please note: Microsoft Edge does not work as a browser, you must use Google Chrome or Safari instead.

  

Step 2: Set up your account in the new SMRP portal:

  • Click “Set Up an Account” from the options at the top of the box.
  • If you've forgotten your password, don't worry. Just proceed with “Set Up an Account.”
  • Enter the email address linked to your SMRP account, a new password, and your first and last name. Then click the blue 'Set Up' button.
  • You won't be able to use the "forgot password" feature until you've completed this process for the first time.



Step 3: After clicking 'Set Up,' the system will perform a check to see if you are already in our database—you may be asked to enter your name as part of this process. After it has confirmed the name of the account owner, the system will send you an email from [email protected], requesting you to verify the email address you provided in Step 2. (Refer to the sample below.) Please click on the Verify link in the email to confirm your SMRP account.

If you don't receive the email:

  • Click on 'Resend Verification Email'.
  • Check your spam box.
  • Verify if the email address you entered has any spelling errors.

  

  


Step 4:

After clicking on the "Verify" link in the email, you will be directed to the new SMRP portal. There, you can update your profile by clicking on “My Profile” and then “Manage My Profile.” Make updates to your profile if necessary.
