July 31 Deadline for CMRP of the Year Awards Nominations
ATLANTA – The Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) is currently accepting nominations for its annual CMRP of the Year Awards, which recognize the achievements of two professionals who have completed the Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Nominations will be accepted until July 31, 2015. The CMRP is the top credentialing program for certifying knowledge, skills and experience of M&R professionals and is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
“Since its launch in 2013, the CMRP of the Year Awards have given us the opportunity to celebrate the great achievements of our members and those who have completed the CMRP certification,” said SMRP Chair Craig Seibold, CMRP. “As a leader in providing certification for M&R professionals, we’re thrilled to honor those who make a positive impact in our organization and throughout the M&R industry.”
The awards are presented in two categories: Rising Leader (0-10 years in the industry) and Veteran Professional (10+ years in the industry). Criteria used to select winners include leadership, positive impact of career achievements, involvement in the M&R community, and academic coursework.
Winners will be announced at the 23rd Annual Conference held from October 12-15 in Cincinnati. To learn more information about the conference and the certification awards program, please visit www.smrp.org/annualconference or www.smrp.org/certification.
