The CMRP is now more convenient! The CMRP exam can be taken at one of many approved computer-based testing (CBT) locations in the US and internationally.
Locate a testing center
Once you find a location, complete the online CMRP application. Simply indicate that you will be taking a computer-based exam. After completing the online registration, an email will be sent within two (2) business days with a separate log-in, password and instructions to register for the exam location, date and time on the computer-based testing center's website. Once payment has been made, you have six months to take the exam.
*If you do not receive an email within 72 hours of scheduling an exam, please contact us.
**A report is generated after the last day of each month from the Kryterion website to pull the names of the individuals who took the exam in that month. A result letter is created for each individual and a certificate is created for those who successfully passed the exam. These documents are then uploaded to the individual's Profile under 'My Certification' at www.smrp.org typically by the 15th of the next month and if the individual checked the box to have their name list in the CMRP Directory, it will list at this time. Check the Certification Results tab for the date the documents are uploaded.
The CMRP exam can also be taken through pencil and paper examinations administered by a SMRPCO Approved Proctor.
To see Public offerings of the CMRP Paper exam, see the Calendar under the Events tab on the SMRP website at https://smrp.org/Events/Calendar
