CMRP Registration

The Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) program is the leading credential for certifying the knowledge, skills and abilities of maintenance, reliability and physical asset management professionals. The CMRP examination is 110 multiple choice questions, and examinees have 2.5 hours to complete the exam.

Computer-Based Exam

The CMRP exam is now more convenient! The CMRP English exam can be taken at one of many approved computer-based testing (CBT) locations in the United States and internationally.

Once you find a location, complete the online CMRP application. Simply indicate that you will be taking a Computer-Based Exam. After completing the online registration and making the payment, an email will be sent within two (2) business days with a separate log-in, password and instructions to register for the exam location, date and time on the computer-based testing center's website. Once payment has been made, you have six months to take the exam. If the exam is not taken within six months, the application fee is forfeited. If you do not receive an email within 72 hours of scheduling an exam, please contact us.

A report is generated after the last day of each month from the Kryterion website to pull the names of the individuals who took the exam in that month. A result letter is created for each individual and a certificate is created for those who successfully passed the exam. These documents are then uploaded to the individual's Profile under 'My Certification' at typically by the 15th of the next month and if the individual checked the box to have their name list in the CMRP Directory, it will list at this time. Check the 'Date Results Uploaded for Paper & Computer Exams' tab for the date the documents are uploaded.
