How long is the exam?
The CMRP is 110 multiple choice questions, and examinees have 2.5 hours to complete the exam. The CMRT is 175 multiple choice questions, and examinees have 3 hours to complete the exam. The CAMA exam is 2 hours and is approximately 110 questions.
How do I study for the exam?
While SMRP does not publish a CMRP or CMRT exam study guide, it does provide several helpful study resources.

These guides are designed to familiarize candidates with the five pillars of the SMRP Body of Knowledge as they pertain to the specific exams and offer several practice questions for each. How long will I have to wait to get my results?
SMRPCO aims to provide exam results within four to five weeks after the exam date. To ensure your results are delivered properly, please be sure to enter your contact information correctly when filling out the application. The email address that is entered, is the address that will be used to notify you that the results have been uploaded to your profile. You can check the status of your exam results by clicking here.
For those who take a computer-based CMRP exam, results are available within 48 hours.
May I retake the exam if I had an unsuccessful attempt?
Examinees must wait at least six months before reapplying to take any of the exams. You will be required to pay the application fee for each additional exam.
What languages are the CMRP, CMRT or CAMA exams offered in?
The CMRP exam is offered in both English and Spanish . The CMRT is also offered in English and Spanish. The CAMA exam is offered in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
How long does my certification last?
The CMRP, CMRT and CAMA certifications are active for three years. Certified individuals must recertify every three years to maintain their recertification. For more information on recertification and to access the recertification application for CMRP and CMRT, click here.
