 The SMRP member portal will be temporarily offline starting May 28, 2026, while we upgrade our certification and membership database system to improve the user experience. Please complete any membership renewals, purchases, or exam applications before May 28.

As part of our ongoing commitment to serving the SMRP community, we are upgrading our certification and membership database system to improve the user experience.

The new platform will provide a more user-friendly experience, with easier access to the resources and information you rely on, improved support, and greater accessibility — all designed with you in mind.

Please note that during the upgrade period starting May 28, 2026, the membership portal will be temporarily offline. Please read the section that applies to you.

BEFORE MAY 28 — ACTION REQUIRED

Now is the time to log in and complete any pending actions. The following will be unavailable from May 28 through the end of June:

  • Membership renewals

  • Purchases, including SMRP store items

  • Certification and exam applications

  • Profile and contact information updates

If you need to take any of the above actions, please do so before May 28. We will send reminders as the date approaches

FOR ALL MEMBERS

During the transition window, the following will be unavailable:

  • Membership renewals
  • Purchases, including SMRP store items
  • Certification and exam applications
  • Profile and contact information updates

What will still be accessible

  • SMRP website (smrp.org) — fully available as usual
  • Training Academy — log in as normal to access your existing content; however, new purchases will be temporarily on hold during the transition period.
  • SMRP Annual Conference exhibitor and attendee registration.
If you need to take any of the above actions, please do so before May 28.

FOR MEMBERS WITH JUNE RENEWAL DATES

If your membership is set to expire in June, you will not be able to renew through the portal during the transition. We strongly encourage you to renew before May 28 to avoid any lapse in membership. Click here to renew your membership.

FOR MEMBERS WITH ACTIVE RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

If your CMRP or CMRT certification is due for recertification and your official expiration date or drop date (following the 3-month grace period) falls between May 28 and June, your recertification deadline will automatically be extended — no action is required on your part at this time.

Additionally, if your recertification expires during this period, you will be given an extension. We will follow up with affected members directly with further details.

FOR CERTIFICATION CANDIDATES

If you are actively preparing for your CMRP or CMRT exam, please be aware of the following during the transition window (May 28 to June):

  • Exam scheduling and rescheduling will not be available during this period. If you are planning to schedule your exam, please do so before May 28 (Apply for your exam here), or wait to schedule after the new portal goes live.
  • If your exam is already scheduled during this window, you may still sit if your exam as planned. However, please note that your results and certification activation will be delayed until the transition is complete.
  • If your exam authorization window expires during this period, it will automatically be extended — no action is required on your part.
  • Training Academy: You will continue to have access to your in-progress certification preparation courses throughout the transition. If you need to purchase any additional study materials, please do so before May 28, as new purchases will be temporarily on hold during this period.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

We will be in touch with reminders before May 28 and a full launch announcement when the system goes live. At that point, you will receive step-by-step instructions for logging in to the new portal.

To avoid any disruption, we encourage you to complete any necessary updates before May 28.
